Ekmattra-Dutch-Bangla Bank Academy
The Ekmattra-Dutch-Bangla Bank Academy, located in Haluaghat, Mymensingh, launched its mission in 2018. The academy, which can accommodate 128 children, ensures that the children's fundamental rights and amenities are met. It provides a comprehensive environment that promotes the physical and mental development of each child.
Structure of the Academy
Mr. Iqbal Habib, a distinguished architect, and his highly skilled team at Vitti Stho-pothibrindo Ltd. were instrumental in meticulously crafting the Academy's architectural design. This design is based on eco-friendly principles, emphasizing the use of fresh air and fostering of a healthy environment. The Academy's vast estate include meticulously planned amenities such as separate dormitories for children and teachers, an avocational education institute, a healthcare center, an office, staff quarters, a multipurpose complex, a library with an extensive collection, thoughtfully designed playgrounds, a tranquil pond, a sustainable dairy farm, an efficient agro farm, and a fully-equipped bakery.
Services of the Academy
The academy provides tailored services to the most vulnerable group of children who live on its premises. Furthermore, it considers the children and adults of Haluaghat to be indirect recipients of its services.
